Ky in her Easter dress

Casey with his favorite toy
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! I took the kids to Minnesota and we had a great time. On Friday we braved the snow and met my friend at the zoo. She has two kids and is a foster mom for three so I was thinking it was going to be a hectic trip to the zoo. It turned out to be a great time! Casey (4) was the oldest and then the other kids were ages: 3, 2, 19 months, 18 months, 3 months (the one month old didn't make the zoo trip). At first it was just going to be two adults with 6 kids but my mom came with us and so did two friends. The kids were incredible! They all listened and we didn't lose any! I would even do it again (maybe not in the snow though).

Two cool kids
On Sat. the kids played with Grandma and Grandpa while I got my haircut. I like the cut but am not crazy about the color. They played outside for a long time. They built a snowman, went sledding and played at the park. I have to get the pictures from my mom. They sure slept good that night and Grandma and Grandpa loved spoiling the kids without mom around!

Ky with Grandpa
It was good to be home for Easter. My mom has the family over. My cousin who lives in Thailand was home and he was there. It was interesting hearing about his travels. My grandpa was looking stunning in his new glasses. He got them to pass his driving vision test. I think it's a little scary that they give a 92 year old a license but it's amazing that he's getting around so well at 92! I told him he just got the glasses to make him look smart! I was so happy that we made it home and got to spend time with the family. We were a little sad that Dad didn't make the trip with us but he had to go to school early Monday morning.
